  1. Somnath Temple
    The first Jyotirlinga of Lord Shiva, Somnath temple is unique on its own. Darshan timings are from 6 am to 10 pm where you can also do puja in the temple. Three aartis are performed every day- their timings are morning 7 am, 12:00 noon and 7 pm in the evening. The temple’s divine atmosphere during Mahashivratri is worth experiencing when endless crowds of devotees visit.
  2. Triveni Sangam
    Also known as Triveni Ghat, this is the point of the confluence of the three rivers Hiran, Kapila and Saraswati where they meet the Arabian Sea. As a belief, Triveni Sangam is a holy and sacred Moksha Tirth for Hindus. People mostly believe that a dip in the river at Triveni Sangam cleanses the body and spirit of all sins committed in one’s life.
  3. Bhalka Tirth
    Located 5 km on Prabhas-Veraval Highway, Bhalka Tirth is a sacred tirth of Lord Shri Krishna. While he was resting in meditation pose under a peepal tree, a hunter named Jara misread Lord Shri Krishna’s foot as a deer and hit him with an arrow. He then pardoned the hunter and blessed him.
  4. Dehotsarg Tirth
    This holy place is situated on the banks of river Hiran in Somnath. Popularly known as Golokdham Tirth, people consider this place as a must-visit of pilgrimage in Somnath. After the hunter’s arrow hit him, Lord Shri Krishna walked few kilometers towards Dehotsarg from Bhalka Tirth. He bathed in the Triveni Sangam and then left his body for his divine abode at Dehotsarg.
    The footprint of Lord Shri Krishna is carved here to mark the divine memory of Shri Krishna Neejdham Prasthan Leela.
  5. Panch Pandav Gufa
    According to mythology, Pandavas visited this underground cave during their vanvasa and worshipped their primary goddess Hinglaj Mata- a form of Goddess Durga. They worshipped in this place to seek the blessings of victory in the Mahabharata war. During their exile term, Pandavas had also spent time in this temple.
  6. Gita Mandir
    This holy temple is also known as Birla Mandir. It has 18 marble pillars with a chapter inscribed of Bhagavad Gita on each pillar. As per mythology, Gita Mandir is situated at the spot where Lord Krishna took rest after his walk from Bhalka Tirth to Triveni Sangam before his journey to Neej Dham.
  7. Somnath Beach
    The beach is situated at 6km to the east of Veraval. Travelers can unwind here and enjoy the flavored and colorful icegolas, coconut water, warm barbequed sweet corn.
    Enjoy the sunset time at the beach and watch the sun beautifully dip into the sea. Though, swimming is not recommended here.
    You can also buy handcrafted items like bags, clothes with zari work, wall hangings, etc from the local market in Somnath.
  8. Junagadh
    Amongst the most beautiful and rich cultured cities, Junagadh is mainly popular for the sacred Girnar Mountains, a climb of 10,000 steps. Catch a glimpse of the Junagadh Fort, Sakkarbaug Zoological Gardens with many rare species to see, Mahabat Maqbara, etc places that speak the specialty of Junagadh. Apart from that, Junagadh is well-known for its Mahashivratri Mela, Lili Parikrama and Bhavnath Mela.
  9. Beaches in Diu
    Visit the famous beaches in Diu such as Nagoa Beach for its pristine beauty and swaying palm trees. Other popular beaches are Jallandhar Beach, Gomtimata Beach, Chakratirth Beach and Ghoghla Beach. People in Gujarat consider Diu as “Goa of Gujarat” and frequently visit here to take a break from their stressful lives.
  10. Gir National Park and Wildlife Sanctuary
